Volunteering

Every stray, abandoned or injured cat deserves a second chance of a happy and
healthy life.

You can help make a real difference to cats in the Guildford and Godalming area by becoming a volunteer.

Volunteering for Cats Protection is a fun and rewarding experience, particularly if you have a skill that would benefit the charity or would like to develop new skills by taking on a fresh challenge. Our volunteers gain a great deal of satisfaction helping cats get a second chance in life.

Our current volunteering vacancies are shown as links on the left hand side.  Please visit each one for more information.

If you would like to find out more about any of our current volunteer roles, or feel there is another way you can help them please get in touch using the contact form below.
Collection Box Fundraiser
Cats in our care rely on generous donations from people who love cats and count on volunteers like you to make those donations happen. Working alongside a team of friendly, enthusiastic volunteers, you will play a key part in raising money and awareness through local fundraising activities.
Closing date: 01 Dec 2014
Trap, Neuter and Return Volunteer
Cats Protection helps thousands of cats across the UK each year thanks to our network of dedicated volunteers. The success of our trap, neuter and return (TNR) programmes is crucial as feral and abandoned cats present a huge challenge for Cats Protection and local communities across the UK. Your role as a TNR volunteer will make a vital contribution to maintaining a healthy population of feral cats and will help alleviate cat welfare and community problems caused by uncontrolled cat populations.
