Despite the Bank Holiday downpours the team from Guildford & Godalming Cats Protection braved the elements and had a super day at The Blackheath Village Fete. The Blackheath Village Fete is a real old English fete with traditional stalls and activities and entertainment such as Morris Dancing, Punch & Judy, a Hog Roast, Coconut Shy and Straw Bale tossing to name just a few. The Cats Protection stall was very popular with its assortment of Cats Protection goodies (the cat nip went down a treat) and general good quality bric - a - brac. Overall by the end of the day we had raised £243.68 which was a real success given the weather. Well done to everyone and thanks to all who visited us. Take a look at the pics on our Facebook page to see the team and our lively stall!!
